Nick and Nicole run a very organized, clean, and family-oriented sober home. They are very dedicated to providing a safe, responsible environment for the recovering individual. The house manager is very fair and delivers the message of accountability in a very respectful manner. I have been at Ellis for almost 7 months now and I am grateful for the opportunity. It has really assisted me in my path towards long term sobriety. I would recommend the Ellis House for any individual looking for a safe, tight, well-managed transitional living space! Nick and Nicole go out of their way to help the individual in many aspects and, to be direct, "give a damn!"

Nick and Nicole, the owners, put my concerns about my sobriety first before their profits. Their genuine concern for my wellbeing and sobriety took precedence.
This sober house is a home to say the least. It is very comfortable and clean. It has a kitchen suitable for a professional chef with a large family. Also, it is located in a beautiful neighborhood as well as being near many strong recovery meetings.
I would highly recommend this house for any body beginning or trying to maintain their sobriety.

The Ellis house was a Great experience for me and really helped me get my life back on track again . The program owners Nicole and Nick were amazing people and family oriented . They really know how to make a total stranger feel like family and comfortable . The Ellis house gave me my life back in a positive way and opened the door for a better life .
The house manager Ryan did an awesome job and became a great friend and really helped me stay on track. . I'm gonna miss the Ellis House and living here was the best experience of my life and I highly recommend this sober house to someone who truly wants their life back again cause this is what any addict needs . love and support

The last name Ellis, this ancient surname is a "crusader" import into Europe from the holy land. We are all crusaders in this never-ending journey. Freedom of having a choice today and not be caught in the grips of addiction. The Ellis sober house has a home away from home feeling. Very inviting 3 story home with all basic necessities at your finger tips. Owners and staff are down to earth, caring and reasonable individuals. They have seen addiction first hand and have absolute compassion for someone wanting to change their life. The Ellis sober house is set in a family oriented neighborhood and stones throw to a park down the street. Also right down the road from walmart, stop & shop, bj's, fitness edge and plenty of great places to eat. Access to 95, Merritt Parkway and route 8. Last but not least, walnut beach is a 5 min drive. Location, location, location.

The house is incredibly clean inside and looks brand new. Big flat screen TV and new couches in the living room on the main floor. There's a welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in the door. The owners feel more like family and honestly care about your well being. They are always a phone call away so there are never any issues regarding the house. Oh, and the hot tub on the back deck next to the grill is definitely a plus
